The series finale Friend In Need shocked everyone, with people either cursing or commending Rob Tapert for being so bold.

The six seasons were commemorated with Tears Two, a music video following the journey of Xena and Gabrielle through everything.

Small piece of trivia: From this event onwards By the Gods was swapped to Saturday nights because the gatherings were proving more popular than the regular sci-fi evenings.
